At Inclinator Services, we design, develop and install our own inclined elevators for homes in Sydney and Melbourne manufactured in Australia. We have several different designs suited to different individual sites, be it outdoors inclined lifts or residential.
We design, manufacture and install inclined lifts with two types of drive systems, winch drum or rack driven. The rail can be straight or curved to accommodate various angles along the track and all have a self-levelling platform. You can mix and match, the choice is yours.

Self-Levelling Residential Lift Platforms
Many inclinators on the market do not have what we call “Self-Levelling”. In many cases the inclined household lifts rail might need to change angle, most commonly to suit the lay of the land. The platform on many inclined lifts will not change to suit the change of the rail angle. This means the platform the traveller is standing on also changes angle and is not level along part of the run. It feels very uncomfortable.
If needed, our residential inclined platform lifts can be optioned and supplied to ensure the platform is always level. It makes for enhanced stress free travel. We can supply a mechanical system or an electric actuator system, depending on what will best suit the specific installation.
Rust Protection & Weather Protected Outdoor Lifts for Homes
Many inclined outdoor home elevators and lifts in Sydney and around Melbourne are located near the coast and suffer from corrosion & rust. The most visible components of our lift are painted in our 3-coat, 2-pack, high-build paint system after sandblasting to get maximum adhesion. You can pick your own colour from our range.
The fasteners we use are made from 316 stainless steel to ensure they do not rust.
If you’d prefer, you can choose galvanised rail & columns, however, the more durable option is a hot metal spray.
Home Lifts’ Reconfigurable Carriage Cage
Our standard carriage cage is supplied 1150 high to meet the A.S. If you desire a fully enclosed inclined elevator, we can supply several options. A fully enclosed cage protects you from the elements.
Our cages are designed with a custom Allen key system that enables quick release and reconfiguration. The carriage cage section above 1150 can be removed by releasing a small number of Allen key fittings for open-air travel
Also, for slightly more inclined elevators cost, we can supply a transport barrier manufacturer with the same style of Allen key fitting, which allows for easy transportation of more oversized items to and from the residence. The cage can be removed, leaving just a platform to move bigger items to and from your home.

Side Rack Driven or Cable Winch Driven Inclined Lifts
As the leading lift elevator company, we provide rack-driven inclined lifts in Melbourne and Sydney, and unlike most other inclined lifts, the drive rack is on its side, not facing upwards. This ensures falling debris from surrounding vegetation doesn’t get stuck into the teeth of the rack, clogging up working components.
Our winch units have two cables. Simply, if one cable breaks, there is another cable connected to the car. Many of our competitors winch driven units only have one cable. You could say our winch-driven machines are twice as safe.
Remote Control and Remote Monitoring Home Lifts
Our elevators for homes can be optioned and fitted with a dial-in data logger. We can dial into your inclinator from anywhere worldwide and check its status. If there is a breakdown, we can quickly assess any issue associated with the control gear.
This helps us to get you back up and running quicker. We can fault find from offsite and ensure we bring the correct spare parts to the site, saving time and money ($5 monthly fee for SIM card after one year).
HMI Interface Control in Residential Lifts
Instead of using push button control like most other inclinator suppliers, you can select the option for the control stations to be HMI touch screens in the household lifts we provide.
This allows for pin code locking at all landings. It also allows for a visual representation of where the inclinator is on the run and warning messages in case of a breakdown.
